By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.
If a loved one is in need, contact the parish office at 713-869-3783.
For more information on church doctrine concerning the sacrament of Anointing the Sick, the Office for the Catechism maintains an online Catechism.
Saint Theresa Church offers Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound every week. This is arranged by calling the Church Office and requesting that someone bring communion to their loved one or themselves.
To make this request call Ginger Tamborello at 713-869-3783. Herman Sutter will then coordinate a Homebound Group on Saturday or Sunday to bring Holy Communion each week.
