Fall/Winter Concert

PITCH. RHYTHM. ENSEMBLE. "The Houston Youth String Orchestra" led by Houston Symphony violinist and fellow parishioner of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Kurt Johnson, will be presenting their fall/winter season concert in the St. Theresa Catholic Church sanctuary on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. The concert will be approximately 1 hour in length and will consist of works by Mozart, Gershwin, and Purcell, among others. The concert is free and open to the public. The Houston Youth String Orchestra recently began its 5th season as "the string orchestra for the youth of Texas." HYSO consists of an advanced beginner/intermediate orchestra led by Quan Jiang (Concert Orchestra) and an advanced orchestra led by Kurt Johnson (Philharmonic Orchestra).
